Couldn’t get a chance to update you guys on each one individually, so here’s the bundle. Possibly going to be doing this type of post more often. Here is everything you missed today about the Knicks:
- Patrick Ewing Jr. gets signed by the Knicks to a “make-the-team-and-we-pay-you” contract, as reported by Howard Beck.
- The New York Post, or more accurately Marc Berman, claimed today that Timothy Mozgov was getting overpaid. C’mon, give me a break. The guy hasn’t even gotten his Knicks jersey, let alone stepped a foot on Madison Square Garden. If you want to call him a bust, fine, but at least give the Russian Cat until the All-Star Break to prove himself.
- Kobe Bryant thinks the Miami Heat have formed Megatron. Or Voltron. Whatever it is, it’s big and powerful and “the defender of the universe” (YouTube video).
- Azubuike thinks he will play; the Knicks don’t want to risk his injury. Hopefully, he plays and doesn’t get injured.
- Here’s a great post by Jon of the Knicks Fan Blog on the Nets being a real threat for Carmelo Anthony. Take note, fans.
